Testimonials

We too were really disappointed to see the recent Ofsted report which downgraded the nursery from Outstanding to Requires Improvement. X has been going to Fatemahs for almost two years and absolutely loves it here. We are constantly impressed with how much he learns here, the information we get back from you and the carers, and the support you give X and us as parents with challenges such as potty training.

When we read the report  and their minor required recommendations, it did not match the 'requires improvement' rating in our opinions. We therefore support your appeal

Toddler Parent - May 2024

We would like to express our surprise and dismay at the rating received by Fatemah Day Nursery following its recent Ofsted inspection. This rating is not reflective of our experience with the nursery at all, which has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have encouraged many other local families to send their children there. Our son (3) is extremely shy and his development has flourished since attending Fatemah’s from 10 months old. We have no qualms at all about our baby daughter joining him there in the summer.

We are regularly updated about our son’s learning, and encouraged to look at the activity plans in the app to support his learning and understand the reasons behind particular activities.

Staff supported us significantly in taking the lead in toilet training our son - at a time when we also had a newborn baby we know that we would have found the whole experience extremely stressful without the calm and supportive guidance of Fatemah’s staff.

Our son loves attending the nursery and is provided with a loving, nurturing and safe environment that is encouraging his development to thrive in the way we’d always hoped for in an early years setting.

We would strongly urge you to reconsider this rating.

Preschool Parent - May 2024

As a parent of a child at nursery and a teacher myself, I am flabbergasted by the inaccuracy of this rating. The staff and leaders at fatemahs go above and beyond to provide an outstanding service and most importantly the children are thriving.

My toddler comes home shouting the practitioners names, singing songs she has been practicing during the day and her speech is coming on leaps and bounds. Something I wish I could say was down to me, but is definitely not. Every parent I speak to is happy with the provision, support and communication.

When I raised concerned about some SEN, I immediately put at ease and given a comprehensive response leaving me completely at ease, surely this is not possible without the proper training? I am head of early years at a local school and the children who arrive at our school from fatemahs, are well round, well mannered, bright children who are without a doubt ready for their next step in education.

Isn’t this what nursery is about? Preparing them for school and ensuring a love of learning?
